Dungeons are instanced areas that are found around the world of Meridia. Adventurers will have the opportunity to battle elite monsters and obtain valuable loot, while gaining experience, completing quests, and accomplishing achievements.
Main story dungeons are dungeons entered as part of the main quest line.
Metarealm dungeons are higher-level versions of the main story dungeons, with higher-level loot. They are not required for main story progression, but may be useful for loot, achievements, and daily quests.
Side dungeons are not part of the main quest line, but may provide special kinds of rewards.
Battlefront dungeons are two level 48 dungeons, which are accessible using tickets obtained from daily quests. They used to be the highest dungeons in the game, but now they do not serve as much of a purpose.
Oubliette Labs are available starting at level 38, with more difficult versions available every 10 levels. Entrances are found throughout the world, and they are known for dropping equipment-enhancing items.
Furval's Training Ground dungeons are available starting at level 48. They are very useful for gaining EXP and Loyalty Points, and there are additional iterations at level 58, 68, 78, 83, and 88. The original Furval's Training Ground is level 58 and the level 48 version ("Nabuland") was added later, hence why it is labeled Furval's Training Ground on maps. Barren Desert, a party-only dungeon, does not follow the same layout but has similar loot.
Wave dungeons are dungeons categorized by format rather than entrance location or loot. You will either find monsters arriving in waves, or encounter monsters on different floors.
Furval's Utopia dungeons are party dungeons with Starstones and furniture as loot.
Trio drungeons are dungeons that require groups of 3 players, rather than 5 like most other dungeons.
Burning City dungeons are dungeons on a chessboard-style map, with loot including high-level equipment, starstones, and materials for crafting Ancient (hexagonal) Starstones.
Other dungeons are dungeons that do not fit neatly into any of the above categories.
